Step 1 of 11: Introduction

Everyone deserves to feel safe at school. The law backs that up in specific ways: schools that receive federal money must respond to harassment based on race, color, national origin, sex, or disability. Every state also has some form of anti-bullying law. Knowing which words describe what is happening to you, and writing things down, is often what turns "kids being kids" into a problem adults must fix.
